Wright Brothers with Cushing Terrell joined forces to provide educational planning, design, construction administration services, and construction using a design/build delivery method. Working together, and coordinating over 30 subcontractors, the state-of-the-art 10-acre, 56,000 SF school was built and handed over in one year, 10 days. The PreK-8 school embraces 21st Century Learning Environments with flexibility, agility, and adaptability integrated into the design.

The building is easily subdivided into small learning communities, supporting safety, functionality and acoustics. The facility includes 20-classrooms, a central commons-cafeteria with kitchen, full-size gymnasium with locker rooms, performing arts stage, flexible library connected to an outdoor garden, combination maker space/life sciences lab connected to another outdoor garden, teacher resource rooms, and small flexible learning communities. The school is site and climate-responsive, placing priority on natural daylight, energy efficiency, the creation of healthy spaces for learning and teaching, and on reduction of life-cycle costs.

The state-of-the-art school was honored with its prestigious selection as the First Place 2018 Top Project in the Private Category conducted by the Idaho Business Review.

“Their approach was thoughtful, diligent, and professional. Their team listened and understood our needs. They were thorough and meticulous in the final product and they met our deadlines within our budget. I was also quite impressed with how they handled their subcontractors – both pushing them to get their part of the job done on time/budget and dealing with any issues in a professional manner.”
