Wright Brothers was the selected General Contractor for Phase II (36,800 SF) and Phase III (30,000 SF) of the Hope Plaza Apartments located in Caldwell, Idaho. The Hope Plaza facility is owned and operated by the Advocates Against Family Violence and provides a safe haven for families and individuals in need. Amenities available to the residents include childcare, a playground, picnic area, and a fitness center.
Hope Plaza Phase II relied on multiple funding sources, complicating the delivery method, as each funding source had its own set of requirements. Additionally, the project was required to meet UFAS (Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards). With Wright Brother’s experience in navigating HUD and affordable housing projects, we were able to deliver the project in balance with the original contract sum despite complications of the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences to the labor force and cost of materials.
